Too Faced Sweet Peach

Is there anything in the world more wonderful than makeup that not only looks & applies beautifully, but smells equally beautiful also? I think not!

Too Faced is a brand that I forever feel super lucky to receive PR from, as they really do go above & beyond with a lot of their releases, so I thought I’d show you some little snippets of the one I have with me today – the Sweet Peach collection.

The collection itself has stemmed from the success of the original (and once limited edition) Sweet Peach palette, which has a similar feel to the majority of TF palettes with its metal casing, range of shades & strong scent. I actually purchased the palette myself when it first launched & have definitely enjoyed using it, but don’t find myself reaching for it as much as I do with my Chocolate Bar palette. Either way, the shadows are pretty, pigmented and blend like a dreammmm!

When Sweet Peach was reborn, one of the new additions to the family was indeed another palette, but one that focuses on skin & glow (two of my fave things!)

I’m yet to use this as well as the rest of the collection on my face, but as a first impression, Sweet Peach Glow has the same lovely sweet scent & offers a bronzer, blush & highlight shade all in one. The highlight is more on the cool/pinky side, the bronzer lovely and warm & the blush a beautiful coral gold shade! As for the formula, it feels extremely creamy to the touch, maybe not as pigmented as other base products that I own, but is supposedly buildable and can be used to achieve an ‘airbrushed effect’. Personally, I would say best for light to medium skin tones.

There is also the option to purchase a single blush shade – Papa Don’t Peach. To no ones surprise, this is again a peachy/coral shade! It feels exactly same as the powders in the palette and again claims to give a natural but buildable coverage. For me, I much prefer a blush to be more on the bronzy/peachy side, as I do feel these look a lot more subtle & beautiful than pinkier blushes.

Last but not least, we have brand new lip products! The Oil Lip Gloss is designed to give a juicy finish, but also contains peach & coconut oil as well as vitamin E to hydrate & moisturise the lips (perfect for me seen as mine as always so dry!) They have a fairly sheer coverage, although can definitely be built up to appear slightly more opaque & with eight shades, the colours range from pale nudes to darker pinks & corals.
